About The Black Rabbit
American
Located at 2353 Pacific Ave Ste b, Stockton, CA 95204, The Black Rabbit operates as a bar serving Stockton in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Stockton will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in California usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 4 pmβ12:30 am. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Stockton is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Stockton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Came in for an early dinner and ended up staying longer than expected. The gastropub had a really laid-back atmosphere and the staff seemed genuinely friendly. I tried one of their burgers and a local beer, and both were pretty good. The food wasn't overly fancy, just well made and satisfying. It did get a little busy while I was there, but everything still came out in a reasonable time. I'd definitely consider coming back to try a few other things on the menu.

Wanted to leave a review for an awesome experience. Wanted this to be very real so including several details to show appreciation. Iβll start with, it was my first time coming, and the service was very friendly and inviting. The drinks were very well made, and the food was awesome. I had the elote fries with asada and man they were awesome. A mistake was made which all things considered through the chaos it was easy to make. I didnβt remember the name of the gentleman who answered my call but he was very pleasant and got on top of it right away. Johnny reached back shortly afterwards and fixed the issue. I have to say this was honestly an all out incredible experience. I wanted to leave this review to remind people that stuff happens, things may not be perfect but overall this was a great experience and look forward to coming back. Thank you again. 5/5 star hands down.

Came in for dinner on a weekday and had a pretty nice time overall. The place had a relaxed vibe, not too loud but still lively enough. I ordered the burger with fries and both were solid, especially the fries which came out hot and crispy. My friend got the fish tacos and said they were fresh and flavorful. Service was friendly, maybe a little slow during the rush, but everyone seemed to be trying hard. Drinks were well made too. Prices were a bit higher than a regular bar, but thats kinda expected for a gastropub. Iβd come back again.

We came here for the Restaurant Week special and while the food was great, I feel like $30 is a bit pricey for a chicken sandwich, fries and a dessert that came out frozen. The fries came out first as an appetizer so they were cold by the time my sandwich came. The portion of fries was huge and the sandwich was tasty but the dessert was frozen and seemed store bought. Cocktails were great and the service was excellent. I loved the mood, decor and ambiance of this place but it's very tiny with limited seating. Maybe there is more seating in the back? It also got really loud really quickly. Anyway, we will have to try this place for Happy Hour or something next time. Thank you for the great service, food and drinks!
